Güliz Akkaya received her BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Engineering from Izmir University of Economics and Izmir Institute of Technology in 2020 and 2023, respectively. She is currently pursuing her PhD and conducting her thesis research in medical image processing under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Nesli Erdoğmuş. She has been working as a research assistant since March 2022.
