Alper Demir
Assistant Professor

He received his B.Sc. (2014), M.Sc. (2016), and Ph.D. (2019) degrees in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University. Prior to joining our department, he served as a faculty member at İzmir University of Economics between 2020 and 2026, and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Autonomous Agents Research Group at the University of Edinburgh during 2024–2025. His research interests focus on artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, reinforcement learning, and multi-agent reinforcement learning.
