Cüneyt F. Bazlamaçcı received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees both in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey, in 1988 and 1991, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computing from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, UK, in 1996. After serving at the Middle East Technical University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department for many years, he has joined İzmir Institute of Technology Computer Engineering Department in February 2020.
He has extensive undergraduate and graduate-level teaching experience in a wide range of software and hardware related courses including data structures, operating systems, algorithms, automata theory, computer networks, logic design, microprocessors, and computer architecture.
His major research areas are
