ANKA team was awarded with the first place in Teknofest 2019, a competition on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Simulation which was organized between September 17-22, 2019, in Atatürk Airport.
The competition focus was implementation of software algorithms for the division of work among multiple UAVs for the predefined tasks and among 73 participant teams, 12 made it to the finals. ANKA team with Utku Savaş and İremnur Kulaksız from our department and Emre Can Avcıl, Ali Rıza Erese from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department was qualified for the first place with their project, developed under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Mustafa Özuysal.
