Eye Tracking and the Web: Research at METU NCC
Abstract
=======
Eye-tracking has been used in a wide range of disciplines from Psychology to Human-Computer Interaction. Regarding the web, eye-tracking research has been used to improve the design and usability of web pages, as well as to understand how users read them. However, there is limited research in eye-tracking data analysis and science, especially in eye movement sequences (i.e., scanpaths). In this talk, I will present our research at METU NCC that has mainly focused on developing approaches and techniques to analyse user behaviour and experience on the web, and some important applications of our research and future directions.
